    October 1st only means one thing… It’s Spooky Season! From haunted houses to hayrides, you can count on this time of the year to bring some enjoyment for everyone. Experience autumn colors at Tanaka Farm – the only place in Orange County where you can literally pick your pumpkin off of the vine. Join in on wagon rides where you can expect to witness a pumpkin launch out of a cannon, as well as a drive-through barnyard experience for some interesting facts about farm animals! Tanaka farms has some spooky-season entertainment you’ll love, including their awesome scarecrow contest that features some serious creativity. If you are looking to have an eventful night with some seasonal treats in hand, Knott’s Berry Farm’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween is the place you should be. Come in your costume and enjoy some delectable fall food as you gaze at the mesmerizing make-over of Knott’s. Spooktacular halloween decorations create the perfect ambiance for a night out to celebrate the season. This year, Knott’s is featuring their first-ever “Into the Fog” art show – so you could be one of the first attendees! For children, Camp Snoopy Trick-or-Treat will be a treat-flooded walk-through they can experience, featuring some outstanding spooky decorations. If you are looking for more of a terrifying halloween experience, then the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride is the perfect fit for you. The mayor himself has said that it is “weird, kooky, and revolting!” Book your tickets to experience a haunted ride where you can drive through a spine-chilling performance put on by all different types of halloween monsters. People come from all over to witness these horrifying personas – so if you are into all-things scary, this is perfect for you. Rounding it up with the Anaheim Fall Festival and Halloween Parade, you are not going to want to miss out on their live shows, crafts, and contests. There are four different halloween-themed contests you can enter: a home decorating contest, a children’s costume contest, a pet’s costume contest, and a pumpkin art contest. And if you aren’t looking to compete, you can find a variety of entertainment at this festival. From musical performances to diverse acts, there will be something for everyone! The kiddos can enjoy some creativity through their crafting options, which range from beaded spooky spiders, to delicious creations they can eat!
